Description

Swift Eagle’s Wagon Train Adventure is a story of a Cheyenne Indian boy whose circumstances place him and his girlfriend, Little Flower, with a wagon train. They need to stay for approximately one moon. They make friends with a white man and his family who have taken them in. They are exposed to the white man’s ways, including language, cooking and music. When it is time to leave the wagon train, they learn they are in unfriendly Ute territory. Their parents are worried about the missing children and finally receive a clue that they may be with a wagon train. The children’s parents and other rescuers from the tribe find it very difficult to bring the children home through Ute territory.
